About the Annual ICT Management Congress

Now in its 31st  edition, the annual ICT Management Congress is an essential Continuous Professional Development (CPD) event that seeks to keep staff working in ICT management form a wide range of organizations appraised and updated on the latest developments in technology and management and how those changes impact their workplace. The event theme “Digital Transformation and Today’s Workplace” relates to the adoption of digital technology to transform services or businesses, through replacing non-digital or manual processes. The accentuation of Digital Transformation through new developments such as AI will be key discussion points.

 

The ICT Management Congress has established itself as a central professional forum for presenting the latest practices to innovative application of in ICT at the workplace. The Congress aims to bring together ICT Professionals as well as industry practitioners, to share their most recent developments, practical solutions and experiences and to discuss the trends, opportunities and challenges in the field of ICT Management at the workplace.

The Congress will consist of regular sessions with technical contributions as well as invited talks presented by leading practitioners and ICT industry leaders. Different workshops be held in line with the main conference theme.

 

The importance of the event is underlined by the fact that attendees can earn a total of 100CPD points out of the 100 required annually to maintain CPD status, just by attending this one event. ICT professionals who do not attain their CPD status will not be registered by the society for the coming year, therefore this event is a must attend for all ICT professionals. This year’s event will be held 22-26 all days inclusive at the Travellers Beach Resort, Mombasa North Coast.

Already a comprehensive program for the event has been drawn up and is included in the information below. The program includes presentations by highly acclaimed ICT experts and industry leaders.

 

Target Groups: Senior ICT Professionals in the Management of ICT field, ICT Managers, CIOs, C-Level Managers, Senior staff in ICT and related departments, Members of ICT Project Teams and Project Teams Using ICT, Senior ICT Professionals, Senior Members of the ICT Industry. The computer Society of Kenya is registered by the National Industrial Training Authority (NITA) – Reg. No. NITA/TRN/945 as an approved trainer in ICT and ICT Management.
